The DAP Sri Aman today was approached by the kampung folks of Kampung Entulang Bungkang in Sri Aman today about their NCR land being encroached by a company, Cermat Ceria Sdn Bhd. The kampung folks were asking for help from the DAP to highlight their problem.
The kampung folk of Entulang Bungkang felt something was amiss and found out that there was an illegal surveying being done on their NCR land as they were never notified by the surveyor or the company involved. A police report was made against the private surveyor and on the advise by Mr Leon Jimat Donald, a letter was made to demand that the company, Cermat Ceria Sdn Bhd, stop doing any surveying works in the Kampung Entulang Bungkang NCR area. He said that if the company continued on encroaching the NCR land of the folks of Kpg Entulang Bungkang, they will consider taking legal action.
TR Alik ak Gol lamented that how come that they have been living in Entulang Bungkang for the last 7 generations are unable to apply for land titles and yet a company that was registered yesterday was able to apply for one. "Is this Rakyat didahulukan, Pencapaian Diutamakan," remarked TR Kudi.
The six gentleman were representing the 33 families whose NCR are affected.
